Spring is usually a time to add more produce and lighten up the menu. Taste of Home has 80 Spring recipes that are worth trying. One of our favorites is Ravishing Radish Salad:
Place radishes in a large bowl. Sprinkle with salt and pepper; toss to coat. Add the green onions, fennel, basil, and dill. In a small bowl, whisk the oil, vinegar, honey, and garlic. Pour over salad and toss to coat.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Sprinkle with walnuts just before serving.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHT: Free Food Bags
Western Eagle Foundation offers low to moderate income families a “free” food bag of staples (canned and dry goods).
