A Message from Board President, Todd Sieja
I would like to thank the Suppliers and Farmers who have come along side Western Eagle Foundation to help provide staples, water, milk, eggs, breads, fruits and vegetables to help families stretch their grocery budget. With the food insecurity rate at 9% and child food insecurity rate at 13.6% in Riverside County, along with the statistic that “prices for food at home rose 9.8% since a year ago” families are finding it more difficult to afford local grocery store prices.

Western Eagle Foundation strives to offer the lowest priced canned goods, staples and non-perishable foods to community members. If you need help feeding your family, or just want to stretch your grocery dollars, please visit our store. As a nonprofit 501c3 organization, net proceeds from the store help fund the programs of Western Eagle Foundation.
Western Eagle Foundation is proud to be part of the greater Temecula Valley community and we are celebrating! On Friday, May 20th, we will have our Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting. The festivities will begin at noon. Light refreshments, prizes, and tours will be provided. I look forward to seeing you there!
HOW WE SERVE

Western Eagle Foundation has several programs and works with multiple agencies to help feed community members in both cities and hard to reach outlying areas in Riverside County.
Along with the Food Box program where anyone can come into Western Eagle Foundation store and pick up a food box full of staples, breads, fruits, and vegetables, we also offer bulk food pallets (when available) every Thursday. More than 15 nonprofit agencies and faith-based organizations arrive on Thursdays and the staff of Western Eagle Foundation loads pallets of food into their trucks and/or vehicles. The food is driven to outlying areas of Riverside County to help feed those who cannot drive, low-income families and may not have any food sources close to them.
STAFF SPOTLIGHT
Focusing on our favorite Savannah "Savy" Sieja -- part of the family that founded and runs the local Western Eagle Foundation. Western Eagle is a non-profit organization started in 1991 that today is the largest food and home goods store subsidizing community programs in Southern California.

Our mission is to “feed the hungry” by offering affordable food choices at a very low cost to help alleviate food insecurity and make sure no child, senior or family goes hungry. Her grandfather Robert Sieja began with the purpose of feeding the hungry.

Today, her dad, Todd Sieja, and Savy carry on the legacy Western Eagle Foundation of “being a caring community partner that feeds those in need”. Savy currently serves Western Eagle Foundation as its Board of Director’s Secretary and Treasurer. The third generation of the Sieja family to lead this 30-year-old nonprofit organization, Savy focuses her daily operational efforts on administration, merchandising, customer service, and brand management. In addition to her growing operational responsibilities, Savy is currently studying business at Mira Costa College.
VOLUNTEER HIGHLIGHTS
Western Eagle Foundation believes in giving everyone a chance and offers on the job training opportunities. Today we highlight volunteers from Free-Indeed Christian Fellowship, whose primary purpose is to restore men recovering from trauma, PTSD, and addictions. These volunteers help pack the pallets of food that are loaded on trucks from nonprofit and faith-based organizations every Thursday at Western Eagle Foundation. This opportunity provides a re-introduction to society and the work environment.
SUPPORTER SPOTLIGHT

Western Eagle Foundation would like to thank the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Sgt. Maj. Ralph E. Gibbs Jr. Memorial Post #7041 of Vista, CA for their financial contribution in support of food for feeding needy troops and their families.
COMMUNITY COLLABORATIONS

Western Eagle Foundation was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the Southwest Riverside County Marine Corps League Detachment 1057, for outstanding collaboration and support to the Marine Corps Reserves Toys for Tots Program Christmas Year 2021!
