A Message from Board President and Chief Executive Officer, Todd Sieja
Western Eagle Foundation mission is “today the Sieja family carries on the legacy of being a caring community partner that feeds those in need.”

This month Western Eagle Foundation celebrates 30 years of providing food to families of one or many, veterans, seniors, homeless, children, foster youth, and are proud that our doors are open to everyone seven days a week from 9:00 am to 6pm, so no one has to miss a meal.

We are thankful to our founders, family, staff, and volunteers that help us carry out the programs listed below:

Food and Home Goods Store- food and home goods purchased by Western Eagle management from distribution centers, weekly, so that we can offer the lowest cost possible to those looking to stretch their family budget. Visit our 44,000 square foot warehouse and save!

Food Box Program- food purchased weekly by Western Eagle management from distribution centers, farmers and growers so that we can provide YOU a box full of non-perishable staples, canned goods, proteins, breads, dairy, fresh fruits and vegetables. Western Eagle is different from other food pantries, in that our food boxes are available 7 days a week and you may pick up as many as you need for families and neighbors. Check our social media daily for foods available.

Community Food Bank Program- Western Eagle acts as a community food bank when purchasing and receiving overstock of food and offers large pallets of food most every Thursday to nonprofit agencies driving to our warehouse.  Organizations pick up large amounts of food needed for those going hungry in the outlying and rural areas of Southern California.

Senior Savings Program- every Tuesday, Western Eagle offers extra savings to seniors living on limited incomes. Seniors may use their SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) cards to not only purchase food from the store, but also to purchase a food box. We don’t want you to have to choose between spending monies on medication or food.  Our staff is always available to help with your dietary special needs. In addition, Dara Tover, with Royal Benefits Insurance Services is here to help you with your Medicare and supplemental insurance questions.

Work Development Program- Western Eagle has a heart and offers a work development program to volunteer youth, young adults, seniors, individuals with challenges, veterans, those in recovery, or committed to community service, enabling them to move forward toward their goals and increase their skill set in stocking, packing, shelving, sorting, pricing, cashiering, customer service, work ethics, policies, and procedures. Volunteers are also offered meals on-site and food to take home.
