A Message from Board President and Chief Executive Officer, Todd Sieja
According to The Kiplinger Letter, “prices of food consumed at home increased a whopping 11.8% in 2022, the highest in 45 years. And the Dept. of Agriculture, which has notably underestimated inflation during the past few years, thinks grocery prices could increase by another 5% in 2023, led by cereals and bakery products, and fats and oils. The cost of many household staples, most notably eggs, will keep increasing in 2023 up to 60%.

Western Eagle cares about YOU and families of one or many. Here are some of our programs that we offer to our clients to help supplement their weekly food menus and decrease their food costs.
Discount Food and Home Goods
A 44,000 sq. ft warehouse with heavily discounted food and home goods purchased directly by Western Eagle Foundation from direct suppliers, food brokerages, farms, grocery superstores and discount stores. Open to public. Physical Address: 40940 County Center Drive, Temecula, CA. Open 7 days a week for easy access to low-cost foods and goods. Hours: 9:00am to 6pm. Extra discount every Tuesday for Seniors! All forms of payment accepted including SNAP. Pet food and flowers available too!

Customized Food Boxes
Western Eagle Foundation directly purchases boxes of staples each week and additionally provides choice of breads, fresh vegetables, fruits, and meats to offer a nutritious food box to families daily. On average 300 families take advantage of this opportunity (no income limits) a week to help supplement their family’s food budget. Available 7 days a week.

FREE Food Boxes
Western Eagle Foundation offers low-income families a “free” food box of staples (canned and dry goods). Mark your calendar for Friday, February 17th from 10:00 am to 1pm. Family member must bring complete self-certification form for eligibility.

Senior Day
Western Eagle Foundation offers Senior Discounts every Tuesday, up to 20% off on all food and other goods. Seniors may use their SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) cards to not only purchase food from the bargain store, but also take advantage of the customized food box. Because nutrition is so important, food boxes are usually filled with cereal, pasta and sauce, easy to eat canned vegetables and fruits, rice and beans, along with fresh bread, fruits and vegetables to be selected and used to make delicious meals. A Medicare Benefits Consultant is usually on-site every Tuesday.

Community Food Outreach
Western Eagle Foundation offers bulk food pallets (1200 pounds each) to registered nonprofit agencies and faith-based organizations, every Thursday, that show up at the Western Eagle Foundation drive-thru wherein pallets of food are loaded into their trucks, vans and cars to be delivered to outlying and rural communities to families in need of food in Riverside County and the unincorporated areas of Riverside County and Northern San Diego County.
